NFL Conference Championships

The Super Bowl combatants will be determined this Sunday. I really do not feel much of a desire to root for any of these remaining four teams. I am particularly sorry that the Buffalo Bills once again stomped on the hearts of their fans. However, I am very, very relieved that the Green Bay Packers are gone.

For years, I used to root for the Kansas City Chiefs, but they have had a ton of success in recent years, and frankly, this whole Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce deal has gotten a bit too much. I am not sure if I truly want to see that talked about for two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, but for decades now, I have had some negative feelings about the Baltimore Ravens, for the way that franchise left Cleveland.

In regards to the NFC, I have always had something against the 49ers, unless they were needed to beat the Packers or something like that. Frankly, if they play the Ravens again, it might be a tough call for me. I believe I supported the Ravens nominally way back in 2013.

As for the Detroit Lions, they are in the same division as the Chicago Bears, and across a wide array of sports, there is no love lost between the two cities' fanbases. However, they have never, ever gone to a Super Bowl. How can I deny them that chance?
