Week 1 and Overall Results: 4-12 (25%)

While these were of course not predictions, this is probably the worst Week 1 start I have ever had. I knew it would not be great because I was hoping for a lot of road victories, but all the home teams I picked to win wound up losing.

The first Bears' game of the season did not go well at all. They better get it together soon or a whole lot of their fans are going to be extremely angry. At least they did not lose as badly as the Giants did at home on Sunday night.

Then, on Monday Night Football, Aaron Rodgers suffered a season ending injury just a few plays into the game. No amount of ivermectin or ayahuasca will be able to fix his Achilles. Will he ever play again? Suddenly, a huge NFL storyline for a season is over and I do not have as good of a reason anymore to root against the Jets.
