First, I am not too upset to see Aaron Rodgers go out in a Joe Biden like fashion. There is no way he is coming back right?

Next, the evening of January 10, 2026 was simply amazing. I have never really felt anything like it, in some ways, even after seeing a bunch of championship clinchers, including Game 7 of the 2016 World Series.

It has felt like the Packers have owned the Bears and dominated the rivalry since I first became a reasonably knowledgeable football fan, some 35 years or so ago. I have been waiting a long, long, long time for this. I think back to all the bandwagon Packers fans from Chicagoland whom I went to High School and college with. We finally got one! Thank you Ben Johnson and thank you Caleb Williams. Whatever happens this coming Sunday or beyond is just extra at this point, but if you do not go all the way, please get even closer next season and do not stop until the ultimate victory is achieved.

Indeed, with the score 21-3 at Halftime, I thought the game was over and we would be waiting until next season. I did not actually think we could actually come all the way back and win this game until maybe six minutes were left in the 4th Quarter, but the Bears have been doing amazing things late in games all season long. Doing it against the Packers (again) was just all the sweeter. It was the best combined night in Chicago sports history, considering the Bulls and Blackhawks also won, and more importantly, the Cubs signed free agent Alex Bregman.

Panthers finish 8-10

Packers finish 9-8-1 in an utter shambles

Steelers finish 10-8

Eagles finish 11-7
Chargers finish 11-7

Jaguars finish 13-5
