That is some symmetry in terms of how I wanted the games to go all season. Of course, I wish the Chicago Bears had won more of them.

Bengals finish 13-8.

They put up a good fight but fell short in a competitive game. To their die-hard fans old enough to remember the 1980s, this has to be considered another great disappointment. They seem to have a bright future ahead of them, but there are a lot of very good teams in the AFC and there is not much of a recent history (with the exception of the Patriots who won their first attempt) at all of Super Bowl losing teams avenging their defeats.

The Los Angeles Rams finish 16-5 as Super Bowl Champions.

There are indeed a lot of feel good stories about the team, I wonder how this feels to St. Louis. Maybe they just do not care.

Perhaps the most fitting observation I have is that is that the Rams share their colors with that of Ukraine, a  proud, independent country that should be very much on the minds of all freedom loving people throughout the world at this time.
