NFL Week 17 Results

It figures that the season for the Chicago Bears came down to hoping for a win by the hated Green Bay Packers in order to get into the Playoffs. It was another very disappointing end when that did not happen and the Vikings won the game to make it into the playoffs. The upcoming week will see a rematch between those two teams, and while I hope the Packers now lose that game, the opposite may occur a week too late for Bears fans.

If it is any consolation, the Bears would not have won the Super Bowl this year anyway. Today, Coach Lovie Smith has been fired after nine seasons, and I hope the new regime will be able to take the team to the next level.
