NFL Week 17

Yes, I know this supposedly political blog has been football, and only football for a while now, but fear not.... it is almost time once again for American Idol!

Truth be told, I just do not have too much to say about politics right now, with the campaign season being over. I guess I am just going to formally await the likely tragic news out of Minnesota for that U.S. Senate race and then formalize how all my predictions panned out. Then, as 2009 unfolds, I imagine I will occasionally offer commentary and predictions on the Gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia, as well as any special elections for U.S. House or U.S. Senate that may come down the pike.

But in the meantime, back to this ultimate week of the NFL Regular Season and all the scoreboard watching that it will involve for the fans of many teams:
