NFL Week 1

62 Days Until Election Day

On Wednesdays, I am going to be taking a break from the Race of the Day to do a post on the week's NFL games. Next Wednesday, I will tally up the results for this week and then look ahead to Week 2.

As I have been saying for years, the teams I have listed in bold are not predictions necessarily, but the teams that I want to win each game. As it relates to any game featuring an NFC team, I will always root for the outcome that best helps the Chicago Bears.

While I certainly do not expect a Super Bowl appearance this season, I am pretty optimistic as a Bears fan that they will continue to move in the right direction and win more games. A big breakthrough may be closer than anyone realizes. This particular Sunday night will be a good measuring stick. In the meantime, we will just see what happens this season and who eventually winds up playing in the Super Bowl, assuming Donald Trump does not cancel it.
