NFL Week 1 Schedule
The new professional football season kicks off on Thursday night, with the defending Super Bowl champions trotting out a star Quarterback who was expected to be suspended for a thing called Deflategate. However, Tom Brady has proven to be just as teflon-coated as his good buddy Donald Trump, at least for the short term. It's a good reason to root against the Patriots.
As I do every year, by listing the games and highlighting a team, it is not necessarily a prediction. In fact, I always expect to finish well below .500. These are simply a list of which teams I want to win the games. My sole focus in doing so is loyalty to the Chicago Bears, and what is best for them this season. I hope they will be a lot better than last season, but expectations are certainly tempered to say the least, and the start of the season might be pretty brutal. However, I expect to be far more focused on baseball during September and October.
