U.S. House Special Elections

This summer, I plan to begin previewing every Gubernatorial and U.S. Senate race in the country, as I have done in past Election Years. In the fall, I will formally offer predictions on all 435 U.S. House districts.

Before that occurs though, as always, I will list and offer predictions on any U.S. House special election. Currently, the House has four vacancies and three of the seats are to be filled before November. The most highly anticipated special election will be this upcoming Tuesday, while the others will be voted on over the next few months.

won by Obama with 50% of the vote

19. (vacant upon the resignation of Trey Radel-R)
won by Romney with 61% of the vote

Safe R

won by Obama with 78% of the vote
