NFL Week 1

I have done pretty well on keeping up with "Race of the Day" on a daily basis, but now that the NFL season is upon us, I am going to take a couple days off from that each week, so I can post on the week's NFL schedule, and then on the results on Tuesdays.

These picks have been featured on my blog for a few years now, but I want to point out that these are NOT predictions. They are the selections of who I want to win each game. This is mainly done for my own information and so I do not have to write this all down on paper or something. With politics so fun though this fall, will I be able to maintain interest in football? I guess it depends on how well my favorite team does...

The Chicago Mayoral election will also be really entertaining! I wonder if I should blog on that next year...

Corey, are you talking about the bold black games you've got picking to win in Week 1 right ?

My team the Saints will win the NFC South again, and make the playoffs at either 11-5 or 12-4 and make it to the NFC Championship game, but fall short in repeating as champs due to anti-Louisiana sentiment from folks outside of the Pelican State.
