June Update

To those who may be wondering when there will be some more posts on this blog, specifically as it relates to politics... well, just stay tuned.

With it being an odd numbered year, there is just not much I feel the need to get into.
However, after tonight, we should know the Dem nominee for Governor of VA, so either later this month, or perhaps at the beginning of July, I will begin posting monthly write-ups and predictions on this year's two Gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia.

2010 will see a ton of statewide races to discuss, and if time permits, I will once again do the "Race of the Day" starting next summer.

But consider this blog to be on sort of a hiatus for the rest of the year, beyond some monthly discussion on NJ and VA, any further U.S. House Special Election predictions, and of course NFL season.

In the meantime, if anyone is really bored, use this as an open forum to comment on whatever you want. I am approving all comments for the time being first before they are posted, but would typically give wide leeway.

Corey, I'm still the same Conservative Democrat, who is NOT Isiah Carey.

Virginia: State Senator Creigh Deeds (D-Bath County) will keep the Executive Mansion in Democratic hands in November in a close race once President Obama, Governor Tim Kaine (D), United States Senators Mark Warner (D-Virginia) and Jim Webb (D-Virginia) and the other VA Democrats campaign very AGGRESSIVELY for him to make sure it stays that way as the Old Dominion continues to trend more and more Bluer-DEM HOLD.

New Jersey: this will depend if incumbent Governor Jon Corzine (D) will spend over $71 million in his reelection campaign to stay at the Governor's Mansion.

BREAKING NEWS: Key person in the federal investigation against United States Senator Roland Burris (D-Illinois), dies in an automobile accident, according to WFLD-TV, Fox 32 Chicago.

Also, I've noticed some polls up in WI that suggest Doyle is in trouble. I firmly believe that Doyle will win in a marginally close race once President Obama, United States Senators Herb Kohl (D-Wisconsin) and Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin) and the other WI Democrats campaign very AGGRESSIVELY for him to make sure it stays Democratic as Wisconsin continues to trend more and more Blue-DEM HOLD.
